Have a basement area that really needs more light. We cut into the brick and install all the necessary support including digging down to the weeping tile for proper drainage.

Interior door options

Swinging hinged doors

Your typical swinging, hinged door which can include complete construction of framing and casing if required. Replacement of a door using the existing frame is often a possibility providing the casing is in good condition.

Barn doors

This unique and elegant sliding door system can really accent a room and add appeal and functionality. Best of all, since it slides to the side, rooms will feel larger because you have no swinging door coming into the room anymore. This allows for new options for furniture positioning.

Track-system slider doors

Complete construction and framing to accommodate your new sliding doors complete with a top and/or bottom track system depending on your needs. Installation of multiple sliding doors together can create a new wall to hide away a large closet area. 

French doors

These fully customizable doors can add real elegance to a home when separating rooms. We provide all the necessary framing and finishing to make your French doors appear amazing.

Fire doors

Often required to be installed for a basement apartment to be legal, we install steel and varied fire rating solid wood doors. A solid wood door can be a little more attractive to dress up your apartment and give it the homey appearance you are seeking.

Brick cut-outs to enlarge room light

Often homeowners require significantly more lighting in a room or basement area. We offer complete construction to cut through the brick and install wooden trusses or a steel lintel to support the structure above. We follow this interior and exterior framing by the pouring of a new concrete slab to accommodate the new doors. Finally we install your new windows and doors to create a bright new space to be enjoyed for years to come.

Single door to double door

Converting a single entry door to a double door or even sliding glass door provides significantly more light to your room.

Single window to wall of windows

A dark room with a small window can feel depressing. Converting that wall space to multiple large windows can add new life into your living space.

Rear entry door to double doors and new windows

Why add just another door when you can do so much more. Completely transform a simple wall with a door to double doors and windows on the sides for a completely revitalized room of light.

Egress window for basement

Basements already feel dark and secluded enough so to carry on with a tiny little window in a room can be very discouraging. Brighten up this space with an oversized egress window that brings in way more light and also provides a safe escape in case of fire.

Retro-fit

A new window or door is set in place of an existing frame and we insulate with spray foam all gaps followed with capping the exterior. This process is the most economical and will save you money.

Brick-to-Brick

(or Frame-rip-out)

We completely gut the area and go stud to stud creating a fresh, clean area for the install. From a construction point of view, this is preferred. The finished look and seal efficiency will be superior.

Complete new cut out

(or enlargement)

Where there is no opening at all, we cut out the brick, install proper framing and support (steel lintel) to ensure the new opening is structurally sound and then follow up by installing your beautiful new window or door. If it is a door, we also pour a new concrete base to fully support the new opening. For partially below-grade windows, we ensure proper drainage is setup to the weeping tiles below.
